Infant Safe Sleep:
The North Carolina Healthy Start Foundation has developed a new teaching tool for infant safe sleep. A series of webisodes are now available to support Baby's Easy Safe Sleep Training (BESST). Each webisode is a short video with detailed information to educate parents, caregivers and professionals about infant safe sleep. These videos are an excellent resource for current and future BESST trainers as well as for parents and caregivers of infants who want to learn more about SIDS risk reduction. Each of the seven webisodes addresses a different topic and shows the viewers hands-on ways to reduce the risk of SIDS. Take a look, share them with others and spread the word about ways to reduce infant sleep related deaths in your family or community.
