Q: Is there a fee to join RICHES?
A: No. There is no fee to join the RICHES Network. It is absolutely free.
Q:I have a pretty hectic work schedule but I am interested in joining RICHES. How much time can I expect to commit as a RICHES Network Member?
A: Our goal is to educate and increase the communication and network sharing among CBO's serving women of reproductive age. We offer capacity building trainings, networking sessions and free resources throughout the year. Taking advantage of these opportunities could further enhance your resources for women in your community. However, if you are unable to attend any of our activities we strongly encourage you to elect an alternate representative from your organization in the event you are not able to attend any of the above functions.
Q: I'm interested in joining RICHES. How can I sign up?
A: Please visit the Join RICHES page for complete information on how to be a part of our Network.
For Current Members
Q: How can I find out what other RICHES members are doing in the community?
A: Please check out the Member Spotlight page to see what other members are doing in your county. We also feature members of our Network in the Foundation's monthly electronic newsletter, Happenings. If you would like to sign up for our newsletter or would like to share what you are doing in the community, please email us at RICHES@NCHealthyStart.org. You may also join us on Facebook to connect with other members and/or participate in discussion sessions.
Q: I would like to connect with other RICHES members in my county. Where can I find a RICHES Network directory? A: You may find a listing of members by county on our RICHES map. Simply click on the county of your choice for a list of contacts. The RICHES map also includes state and county stats and resources.
Regional Meetings
Q: What if I'm not able to attend a RICHES regional meeting?
A: The regional meetings are optional, but we do encourage you to attend at least one of the six meetings held throughout the year. We strongly advise every member to elect an alternate to represent their organization in the event they are not able to attend a meeting in their region.
Q: I want to attend a RICHES meeting specifically in my region. How can I determine what meetings are in my region?
