The Winter 2005 issue of CenterNews, the UNC Center for Maternal and Infant Health quarterly newsletter, featured an article by Christine O'Meara, M.A., M.P.H. titledOpens in new window"SIDS happens in our communities."

The article asks medical professionals to review their current pratices, their hospital nursery policies, and their parent education to make sure that all these components are consistent with national safe sleep standards and messages.
