Free or low-cost health insurance for children and teens
Good from April 1, 2008 through March 31, 2009
Your child may be eligible for Health Check (Medicaid) or NC Health Choice – free or low-cost health insurance for children and teens under 19 years old (21 in some cases). Even children with one or two working parents earning $42,400 a year or more may qualify. The program also covers children living with grandparents, other family or friends.
