for different race/ethnicity groupings now available online
(6/04) --Dianne
Enright, Manager of the Geographic Analysis Unit, State Center
for
Health Statistics, produced GIS Maps reflecting the Percent of
Population by Census Block Group for Different Race/Ethnicity
Groupings. New printable mapsare
now available at this website. The
Census Block Groups used in this analysis have a population between
600-3000
with 1500 as an
ideal.
These maps show statewide patterns of population
density by race/ethnicity and may be helpful as you consider how
best to target and tailor outreach to minority populations in your
communities.
