Age & race/ethnicity data now available online for NC Health Choice and Medicaid children

(6/04) -- Age and Race/Ethnicity Data for both NC Health Choice and Medicaid Children is now available online from the Eligibility Information System through XPTR. For those not employed by a local DSS, ask a colleague to print out your county data periodically to help you and/or your local coalition know how effectively your outreach efforts are targeting children of different ages and from different race/ethnicity groups. The following data reports are currently online through XPTR:

• "DHREJ Eligibles by Age, Race, Sex" (Title XIX/Medicaid Data) This is a quarterly report.
• "DHRRLA HC R/A/S" (NC Health Choice Data)
• By CNTY ("RA") This is a monthly report.
• By INC GRP ("R2 ") This is a quarterly report.
• CNTY By GRP ("RB Report") This is a monthly report.
• Statewide ("R1") This is a quarterly report.

If the report does not come up, hit enter and it will be restored. If the report has been archived, it will be necessary to restore it. Follow the instructions.

Consider how you can improve outreach / enrollment efforts to targeted populations so that no child is left behind when it comes to being insured.
