Breastfeeding and NC law

N.C. Gen. Stat. § 14-190 (1993) states that:

A woman is allowed to breastfeed in any public or private location and that she is not in violation of indecent exposure laws, including the uncovering of the nipple.

N.C. Child Care Rules states that:

"Accommodations for breastfeeding mothers shall be provided that include seating and an electrical outlet in a place other than a bathroom that is shielded from view by mothers while they are breastfeeding or expressing milk."
