Overview
The NC Family Health Resource Line is for anyone in North Carolina who has
questions about having a healthy pregnancy or raising happy, healthy children
and teens. It also serves as a source of information about Health Check/NC
Health Choice - two publicly funded child health insurance programs.
Friendly, knowledgeable staff can halp answer questions and resolve problems.
All services are free, confidential and available in English and Spanish. Free
educational materials for callers are also available upon request.
Perinatal Substance Use Services
- Provides information, screening and referrals for pregnant and parenting
women who are substance users and their families
- Maintain an up-to-date listing of bed availability in North Carolina's
residential, perinatal/maternal and CASAWORKS substance abuse treatment programs

- Health before pregnancy
