is to eliminate preventable infant death and illness in North Carolina

of key maternal and child health issues and resources
in order to better assist the families they serve.

Carolina Department of Health and Human Services and
the North Carolina Healthy Start Foundation. The information

Privacy Policy
The North Carolina Healthy Start Foundation believes personal
privacy must be respected and preserved. We do not
collect personal information such as names, addresses,
email addresses, etc. unless you voluntarily
give them to us when they complete a form or survey,
email us, make a donation or place a bulk order for health education
materials.
Personally identifiable information is used solely
for the purposes of:
Processing orders and accounting for the distribution
of publicly-funded health education materials
Collecting comments and recommendations about
the web site
Responding to requests
Note: At times, we may not be able to answer specific
eligibility and technical assistance questions.
In those cases, we forward questions to individuals
at the state level who are better able to offer
assistance. In those cases, we do pass along the
original sender's identifying information so that
the sender can get a direct and confidential answer.
Sending gift acknowledgments
The North Carolina Healthy Start Foundation keeps a database of agencies and individuals who
bulk order educational materials, as part of our contract
with the state of North Carolina. No other person/entity can access this database. Aggregate (non-identifying) information
from this database is, at times, reported to the divisions
within the N.C. Department of Health and Human Services. We use the database information
for statistical analysis, for customer surveys and
to announce new resources.
All personal information will remain
confidential and will never be sold or otherwise shared
or communicated to any commercial entity.
Currently we are using Google Analytics to analyze the audience of the website and improve our content. No personal information is collected from Google Analytics. For further information on the privacy policy concerning

We do not use cookies on our Web site.
Funding
Support for this site comes from private foundation grants and gifts. In the past, support for this site also came from the State of North Carolina, Department of Health and Human Services through a contract with the North Carolina Healthy Start Foundation.
