Open in new windowNorth Carolina Division of Public Health, Women's and Children's Health Section, Children and Youth Branch - works to promote the Health Check/NC Health Choice program as part of it's mission to assure, promote and protect the health and development of infants, children and youth. The Branch places a major emphasis on the provision of preventive health services and administers several programs serving individuals who are developmentally disabled or chronically ill.

Open in new windowChildren's Defense Fund - national organization dedicated to child well being. Site includes information about national outreach campaigns for insuring children. Provides links to all state Child Health Insurance Programs (CHIP) and toll-free state numbers.

Serves as a resource for information about immigration issues related to Medicaid and the Child Health Insurance Program (CHIP).
